CERAMIC DISCS
Ceramic Discs are the permanent solution to dripping taps. They replace conventional washers. To maximise performance and protect the Ceramic Disc or Ceramic Cartridge, an in-line filter must be fitted to prevent damage by foreign particles. An adjustable Ceramic Cartridge allows you to set and control the temperature and flow of the water to prevent scalding and splashing. This feature protects your whole family – especially children and the elderly, not to mention our most precious resource - water. XVALVE
XValve is Australian Ingenuity at its best. Designed in Australia, this revolutionary yet simple design, solves the world wide problems of dripping taps, worn washers, sticking handles and high maintenance costs.
XValve works at zero pressure. If the water pressure is low, it has a spring that pushes it up. XValve is also washer-free, using the pressure of the water to turn off the seal.
That is, the water comes through the bottom and out through the top. The reverse thread means that when turning the water on, the sealing mechanism is pushed down (and when turning off, the water pushes the sealing mechanism back up against the seat and seals it). This XValve mechanism gives you full flow with just a quick and smooth half-turn action.
